Leadership

Dr. Mahali Phamotse is a prominent Mosotho academic, politician, and former Cabinet Minister. She has served in the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Gender, Youth, Sports and Recreation, and as Minister of Justice and Correctional Services.

A current Member of Parliament for the Matlakeng constituency, she established United Africans Transformation in December 2023 to offer Basotho a dynamic, action-oriented political alternative.

Holding a Ph.D. in Education, Dr. Phamotse is widely recognised for her advocacy in youth development, international tertiary scholarships, and structural socio-economic reform.
